It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or an official channel of UPESSC, CBSE/CTET, SSC, UPSC, UPPRPB, UPPSC, UPSSSC, RRB, IBPS, SBI, any State Education Department, or any other government body. We do not provide government services, applications, or results. Vacancies, dates, eligibility, syllabus, and pattern on the official commission website / notification PDF are always the final authority.

1. Introduction (Privacy)

This page explains what data we collect, why, and your rights. By using the Exam Takhti website or Android app you agree to this Privacy Policy, Terms of Use, exam-result disclaimer, and payment/refund rules.

2. Data controller

Service operator: Exam Takhti (independent prep platform). Contact via the Account page in the app or website.

3. What we collect

• Account: email, display name (if provided), profile photo (if uploaded), Firebase Auth UID
• Study activity: note progress, bookmarks, mock attempts, wrong-question deck (device/account linked)
• Purchases/access: payment records (Razorpay order/payment IDs), exam entitlements — we do not store card numbers
• Device/technical: basic app/browser signals, crash/performance logs (if enabled), login timestamps
• Preferences: language (Hindi/English), chosen exam interest

4. How we use data

• Sign-in, notes/mock access, payment verification, and entitlement checks
• Showing performance/progress and improving the service
• Security, fraud prevention, and legal compliance
• Important service messages (e.g. payment/access updates) — not marketing spam

5. Third-party services

We may use Google Firebase (Auth, Firestore, Hosting, Cloud Functions), Google Sign-In, Google Ads conversion measurement on the website, and Razorpay (payments). Their own privacy policies also apply.

6. Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share only as needed to run the service, process payments, comply with law, or at your request.

7. Retention & security

We keep data as long as needed for the account/service or as required by law. We apply reasonable technical and organisational safeguards; no system is 100% secure.

8. Children’s privacy

The service is intended for users typically 13+. If you believe a child’s data was provided without appropriate consent, contact us and we will seek to delete it.

9. Your rights

You may update account information, sign out, and request account/data deletion. Additional rights may apply under applicable law.

10. Android app permissions

The app uses Internet access for content, login, and payments. Gallery/media access is only when you choose a profile photo. We do not request unnecessary permissions.

11. Payment, validity & no refund

After payment succeeds and is verified by our server, full prep for that exam (notes + mocks) unlocks on your account — valid for about 365 days from purchase (not lifetime). All sales are generally final: no refund for failure in an exam, dislike of material, wrong exam chosen, or change of mind. Rare double-charge or verified technical payment errors may be reviewed case-by-case.

12. Exam results disclaimer

Preparing via this Website/App does not guarantee selection, passing, marks, or appointment. Results depend on your study, practice, exam-day performance, and the commission’s rules. Exam Takhti is not liable for failure, low marks, or non-selection.

13. Changes

We may update this Policy/Terms. The version posted on this page with a new date will apply. Continuing to use or purchase means you accept the updates.
