A. Exam results — important disclaimer

• Exam Takhti only provides educational preparation material (notes, practice, mocks). We are not a government commission, recruiting board, or exam conducting body.
• Preparing via this Website/App does not guarantee selection, passing, marks, or appointment. Results depend entirely on your study, practice, health, exam-day performance, and the commission’s rules.
• You agree that Exam Takhti, its operators, or content cannot be held liable for failure, low marks, or non-selection — even if you prepared here.
• Official notifications, syllabus, dates, pattern, and cut-offs on commission/government PDFs and websites are always the final source. Our material is supportive; errors or delays are possible. B. Payment, validity & no refund

• After payment succeeds and is verified by our server, full prep for that exam (notes + mocks) unlocks on your account — valid for about 365 days from purchase (not lifetime).
• All sales are final. There is generally no refund, cancellation, credit, or partial return — including claims such as “I prepared and still failed,” “I disliked the material,” “I chose the wrong exam,” or “I no longer need it.”
• Only in rare cases such as clear double charges or verified technical payment errors may we review case-by-case; that does not create a right to refund.
• Before buying, check the exam slug, price, and account email. Payment for the wrong exam is your responsibility.

C. Content & terms of use

• Content is for personal study. Copyright rests with Exam Takhti / affiliated authors where applicable. Redistribution, resale, scraping, or public sharing without permission is prohibited.
• Paid notes/banks/keys are not client-only unlocks; server entitlement is required. Fraud, shared-account abuse, or anti-cheat bypass may suspend access — without refund.
• The service is provided “as is.” We do not guarantee uptime, complete syllabus coverage, or continuous availability; updates and improvements may occur.
• To the fullest extent allowed by law, Exam Takhti is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss (e.g. lost job/exam opportunity). In any dispute our total liability may be limited to the amount paid for that purchase.

1. Introduction (Privacy)

Exam Takhti (“App”, “Website”, “we”, “us”) provides government exam preparation services. This part explains what data we collect, why, and your rights.

2. Data controller

Service operator: Exam Takhti (independent prep platform). Contact: via the Account page in the app or website.

3. What we collect

• Account: email, display name (if provided), profile photo (if uploaded), Firebase Auth UID
• Study activity: note progress, bookmarks, mock attempts, wrong-question deck (device/account linked)
• Purchases/access: payment records (Razorpay order/payment IDs), exam entitlements — we do not store card numbers
• Device/technical: basic app/browser signals, crash/performance logs (if enabled), login timestamps
• Preferences: language (Hindi/English), chosen exam interest

4. How we use data

• Sign-in, notes/mock access, payment verification, and anti-cheat entitlements
• Showing performance/progress and improving the service
• Security, fraud prevention, and legal compliance
• Important service messages (e.g. payment/access updates) — not marketing spam

5. Third-party services

We may use: Google Firebase (Auth, Firestore, Hosting, Cloud Functions), Google Sign-In, and Razorpay (payments). Their own privacy policies also apply.

6. Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share only as needed to run the service, process payments, comply with law, or at your request.

7. Retention & security

We keep data as long as needed for the account/service or as required by law. We apply reasonable technical and organisational safeguards; no system is 100% secure.

8. Children’s privacy

The service is intended for users typically 13+. If you believe a child’s data was provided without appropriate consent, contact us and we will seek to delete it.

9. Your rights

You may update account information, sign out, and request account/data deletion. Additional rights may apply under applicable law.

10. Android app permissions

The app uses Internet access for content, login, and payments. Gallery/media access is only when you choose a profile photo. We do not request unnecessary permissions.

11. Changes

We may update this Policy/Terms. The version posted on this page with a new date will apply. Continuing to use or purchase means you accept the updates.
