Evaluating language proficiency — speaking

This CTET Paper 2 chapter trains future Classes VI-VIII language teachers to evaluate speaking proficiency fairly: oral evidence, balanced components, guided and free tasks, rubrics and continuous tools, dignity-preserving feedback, and exam traps that replace speaking with writing, accent policing or one-shot token tests, framed by NCF 2005, NEP 2020 and NCF-SE 2023 pedagogy context.
