This CTET Paper 2 chapter builds Fractions for future Classes VI-VIII maths teachers: part of a whole and part of a collection, proper improper and mixed forms, unit fractions, equivalent fractions and simplest form, comparison, like and unlike addition-subtraction, multiplication as of, division by invert-and-multiply, fraction as operator, paper-folding TLM, and denominator traps with misconception-aware pedagogy from folds to symbols. Decimals stay a one-line sibling writing only. Sibling Number System, Ratio, Algebra, Geometry and broad Maths pedagogy stay one-line contrasts only.
