यह अध्याय हिंदी व्याकरण में शब्द निर्माण की सबसे महत्वपूर्ण इकाई—उपसर्ग और प्रत्यय—की गहराई से पड़ताल करता है। इसमें हम जानेंगे कि कैसे छोटे शब्दांश (syllables) किसी मूल शब्द के आगे या पीछे जुड़कर उसका पूरा अर्थ बदल देते हैं। हम संस्कृत के 22 उपसर्गों, हिंदी और उर्दू के उपसर्गों, कृत् और तद्धित प्रत्ययों के नियमों को आम बोलचाल की भाषा में समझेंगे। साथ ही, संधि के कारण उपसर्ग पहचानने में होने वाली गलतियों, 'इक' और 'य' प्रत्यय के जादुई नियमों और प्रतियोगी परीक्षाओं में पूछे जाने वाले उलझाने वाले सवालों (exam traps) पर विस्तार से चर्चा करेंगे ताकि आप परीक्षा में पूरे अंक ला सकें।
यह अध्याय मुहावरों और लोकोक्तियों की पूरी कहानी, उनके बीच का अंतर, परीक्षा में आने वाले महत्वपूर्ण उदाहरण, और आम गलतियों को कवर करता है। इसमें शब्दों की 'लक्षण' और 'व्यंजना' शक्ति को रोजमर्रा की हिंदी में समझाया गया है ताकि आप परीक्षा में कभी कंफ्यूज न हों। इसके अलावा प्रशासनिक कार्यों में इनके सटीक उपयोग को भी गहराई से बताया गया है।
यह अध्याय कार्यालय आदेश (Office Order) के अर्थ, उसके सटीक प्रारूप, भाषा-शैली और प्रशासन में इसके उपयोग को गहराई से समझाता है। इसमें प्रिंसिपल के रूप में स्कूल प्रबंधन में कार्यालय आदेश की भूमिका, 12 सही उदाहरण, 8 सामान्य गलतियाँ और उनके सुधार, तथा परीक्षा में पूछे जाने वाले प्रश्नों का विस्तृत विश्लेषण शामिल है।
इस अध्याय में हम हिंदी भाषा की सबसे महत्वपूर्ण कड़ी यानी वर्तनी (स्पेलिंग), वाक्यों को शुद्ध करने के नियम, और शब्दों को नया रूप देने वाले उपसर्ग और प्रत्ययों को बारीकी से समझेंगे। एक प्रिंसिपल के तौर पर सही भाषा का इस्तेमाल आपके नेतृत्व की पहचान है। यहाँ हम रटने के बजाय गलतियों के कारणों (Cause and Effect) पर फोकस करेंगे, ताकि परीक्षा में कोई भी सवाल गलत न हो।
इस अध्याय में हम उत्तर प्रदेश शिक्षा सेवा चयन आयोग (UPESSC) के प्रधानाध्यापक पद की परीक्षा के लिए पर्यायवाची (समानार्थी) और विलोम (विपरीतार्थी) शब्दों का अत्यंत गहराई से अध्ययन करेंगे। यह केवल शब्दों को रटने का अध्याय नहीं है, बल्कि शब्दों की उत्पत्ति, उपसर्ग-प्रत्यय द्वारा उनके निर्माण, समान स्तर (तत्सम-तद्भव) के नियमों और परीक्षा में परीक्षक द्वारा बिछाए जाने वाले जालों (exam traps) को वैज्ञानिक ढंग से समझने का ब्लूप्रिंट है। इस अध्याय को पढ़कर आप जान पाएंगे कि शब्दों के अर्थ की सूक्ष्मता एक कुशल प्रशासक और शिक्षक के लिए कितनी अनिवार्य है।
